The Coastal Path is one of the most beautiful and surprising routes along the Garraf coast.
A journey of approximately 8 kilometers that connects Sitges with Vilanova i la Geltrú, following the profile of the cliffs, hidden coves, and natural viewpoints of a unique Mediterranean landscape.
Along the path, the views over Sitges are spectacular, especially at sunset, when the sun illuminates the town and the sea with golden hues. The trail runs through the Paratge Natural dels Colls i Miralpeix, a protected area where nature and history coexist in perfect harmony.
One of the most interesting points of the route is the Avenc del Gegant, a natural cavity where Neanderthal remains, stone tools, and bones of prehistoric animals have been found, bearing witness to the most remote past of this territory.
During the walk, you can also discover several beautiful beaches and coves, such as the well-known Platja de l’Home Mort, currently a nudist beach, with transparent, intensely blue waters that invite swimming during the summer months.
At the start of the path, hidden among the vegetation, you can still spot the remains of an old farmhouse and a tower from the 11th century, now part of a private hotel. And overlooking the Miralpeix hill stands the Chapel of Our Lady of Grace, watching over the landscape and reminding visitors of the long human presence that has shaped this remarkable place.
The Coastal Path is an easy walk, perfect for enjoying a morning surrounded by nature, history, and the sea —an experience that captures the true beauty and calm of Sitges’ Mediterranean spirit.
