“The Terramar Autodrome, the most exciting Autodrome in the world.”

This was announced on November 28, 1923, the day of its inauguration.

Terramar Racetrack

It was part of the Garden City project that Francesc Armengol designed in Sitges between 1920 and 1930.
Francesc Armengol, a great car racing enthusiast, found the ideal place in Sant Pere de Ribes to make his dream come true.

At that time, there were only two autodromes in Europe: Monza and Brooklands. The Terramar Autodrome would become the third, hosting races such as the First International Grand Prix of Spain and legendary drivers like Alberto Divo, Tazio Nuvolari, and Dario Resta.

Its life was short, but precisely for this reason, today it is the only autodrome from the early 20th century that remains intact. You can still see the entire 2 km track, the grandstands, the paddock, and the two dizzying curves that remain intact.

Enjoy this automotive and architectural treasure with our guided tours within this emblematic site, part of our recent history and a pure example of the Mediterranean creative style.
