The old town<\/strong> was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1972<\/strong>, and it is here that you will find the so-called Iberian settlement of Puig de Sitges<\/strong>.
You can see ancient grain silos carved into the rock, with Iberian archaeological remains<\/a> increasing year after year. The Roman occupation also left its mark, as did the medieval settlers who, in the 10th century, returned to inhabit this place.<\/p>\n\n
